Inja is an artist with undeniable cross genre skills. He has residencies at Drum and Bass, Hip Hop and Dubstep nights all over the UK, he is the official DMC World host and has toured with legends such as Taskforce, Logistics and Foreign Beggars.
Inja is an exceptional Artist, MC and host whose work spans a huge variety of genres including dubstep, hiphop, grime, drum and bass and freestyle poetry. His talent, energy and exceptional lyricism, both live and recorded, have garnered him continuous praise; a ‘lyrical wizard’ (IDj Magazine), with emcee skills ‘faster than a speeding bullet’ (HipHop Connection), he faultlessly crosses his musical barriers with the most recent ‘Skuff and Inja LP’ even displaying ‘forays into dancehall, electronica, vintage funk and contemporary folk’ (London Metro). He is the UK’s most energetic, crowd-pleasing and versatile performers.

Inja is resident Host / MC at Warning and Stink Like Sock, two of the UK’s
biggest and longest running drum n bass and dubstep nights. Here, he works alongside DJs and MCs such as Benga, Plastician, L-vis1990, Skream, GQ, Andy C, Dynamite MC, Shy FX, Comix, Friction, Subfocus, Dj Hype and Alex Perez. He also works as Host with Logistics, Breakage and Nu Tone at Cambridge University’s biggest club night, as well as touring with Dubstep night BassLaced and Pirate Sessions across the UK and to Brazil’s Rio de Janeiro.

Inja’s talent to host and hype up any crowd was spotted by the DMC World
Championships, landing him his current title as the official host of both the UK and World DMC tours. Both as host and performer, he showcased a solo set at the World Finals, backed by the World Supremacy Champion Dj Switch, and with Skinnyman at the UK finals. Since then he has been hosting for the Major Laser Soundsystem along with house /garage / bassline DJ L-vis1990 and as the official host accompanying Beardyman and Jungle Drummer on the exceptional ‘Where’s the Dj’ live freestyle show.

In terms of hip hop, Inja performs live as a solo act, as well as as part of the renowned Taskforce family and one third of the mighty ‘The Skuff and Inja Show’. The latter’s ‘show stopping powers’ have received 4 star ratings in Metro and smashed up stages from the UK, Europe to China. As well as stringing a series of hiphop releases on his homegrown label INR. Inja also tours with Taskforce across the UK and Europe. He has been working with Foreign Beggars, Kyza, Skinnyman, Fallacy and Phi Life Cypher, both in live performances and solo releases, the latest of which has been featured on MTV Base, MTV Hits / Europe, BBC 1 Extra, Radio 1 and Kiss FM, amongst others.

As well as performing, Inja co-runs Page to Performance, a UK-based education organisation with the central aim of bringing words and poetry to life. Here, he runs workshop and performance days in freestyle and freestyle poetry, lyric writing and emcee skills, both solo and with spoken word artist Hollie McNish. He works in schools, youth clubs and theaters.
